IACS Approved Factory Black Painted R3 Offshore Mooring Chain
Offshore Mooring Chain are to be manufactured only by works approved by IACS societies. Approved tests are to be carried out, the scope of which is to include proof and breaking load tests, measurements and mechanical tests, including fracture mechanics test. Approval will be given only after successful testing of the completed chain. The approval for each grade will normally e limited up to the maximum chain diameter tested.
